Our History

Cycle 66 began with community leaders and Route 66 advocates who wanted to create a world class cycling event that honored Oklahoma’s stretch of the Mother Road. They envisioned an experience that blended urban and rural scenery while giving back to local communities.

In 2021, the inaugural Cycle 66 ride launched in downtown Edmond. Since then, the event has continued to grow, drawing cyclists from across the region and expanding its charitable impact each year.

Honoring the Mother Road

Cycle 66 connects participants with the heritage of Route 66 through scenic routes, historic towns, and stories that represent the heart of Oklahoma. Our long-term goal
