Yes! The Crit @ Cycle 66 is a fast-paced criterium race held in downtown Edmond. The course is designed for competitive cyclists and creates an exciting spectator experience with prime viewing areas, restaurants, and community activity nearby.
Ride Support & Safety

Yes! Cycle 66 routes are supported with safety crews, hydration, and rest stop support, working in collaboration with city officials, local law enforcement, Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Cycle 66 safety volunteers. Riders are encouraged to choose the route that best matches their comfort level and experience.
A small number of roads and intersections along the routes will be closed to traffic, but all will be well marked and closely monitored by safety officials.
Cyclists are asked to always follow the “rules of the road” as if driving a vehicle. Cyclists also are required to wear helmets and to attach the provided ID tag to their bicycles. -
Yes! Supported routes include hydration and rest stop support to help riders stay fueled and prepared throughout the event.

Yes! Helmets are required for riders. Cycle 66 is committed to creating a safe, organized, and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Yes! Routes are planned and supported to help riders follow the course. Riders should still review route information before event day and pay attention to all signs, safety instructions, and volunteer guidance along the route.

No! Cycle 66 welcomes cyclists of different skill levels. Riders should select a route that fits their ability, comfort, and training level.

Riders should bring a helmet, water bottle, proper cycling gear, identification, and anything else they may need for their selected route. It is also a good idea to check event updates before arriving.

Yes! Volunteers play an important role in helping with packet pickup, rider check-in, course direction, hydration, rest stops, and general event support.

Ride registration includes a supported route experience with event essentials such as hydration, safety support, packet pickup materials, a commemorative t-shirt, rider book, virtual goody bag, finisher medal, and access to the finish line celebration.

Yes! Riders interested in the criterium race can register through the Race 66 page or the race registration link on the website.

Yes! Volunteers are a major part of Cycle 66. No prior experience is required, only a willingness to help and support the community.
