Our Story

Cycle 66 is a nonprofit cycling event created to celebrate Oklahoma’s stretch of historic Route 66 while strengthening the communities along its path. Each year, riders, racers, sponsors, and volunteers gather in Edmond for a full day of movement, connection, and purpose.

What began as a shared idea among community leaders and Route 66 advocates has grown into a regional event that attracts cyclists of all abilities. The goal is simple. Provide a well organized, welcoming ride that showcases the Mother Road and gives back to local causes.

Our Mission

Cycle 66 exists to connect people to Route 66, promote healthy and active lifestyles, and support nonprofits that serve Oklahoma communities. Every registration, sponsorship, and volunteer hour helps us move closer to our long-term vision of engaging thousands of people with the history and heritage of the Mother Road.

How We Create Impact

Proceeds from Cycle 66 help fund local charities and Route 66 preservation efforts. By keeping the event rooted in community partnerships, we are able to support organizations that make a direct difference in the lives of people across Oklahoma.
